WHAT IS A LEARNING EXPEDITION?

Also called "LEX", "Learnex", "learning trip" or "study trip", a Learning Expedition consists in meeting the actors who innovate in your industry for a day or a few days. During a LEX, you'll discover the startups, corporates, experts, professors and researchers who disrupt your sector.

Whether the trip takes place in France, abroad or by videoconference, a LEX enables participants to anticipate the impact of new technologies and the transformations modifying the way we produce and consume.

The Learning Expedition is an immersion in an innovative ecosystem.

It's a physical or virtual journey that allows you to get out of the office and meet the innovative and inspiring players in your ecosystem.

Here is our 4-step methodology to make your trip an unforgettable moment with a return on investment

FRAMING - 3-4 MONTHS BEFORE THE LEX

We analyze your needs in order to find the main topic of your LEX and to elaborate the specifications that will allow to prepare the program. During this phase, we will:

Clarify your expectations: what are the objectives of your LEX?
validate your budget : what is your budget per person and in total?
evaluate what you delegate and what you manage: do you want to be involved a little, a lot or not at all?

PREPARATION - 2-3 MONTHS BEFORE THE LEX

We elaborate together the program minute by minute and, according to your needs, make suggestions for:

To organize a LEX, a number of constraints must first be defined:

  • target audience: how many people would go on a LEX trip, and who?
  • thematic: what specific themes and issues would you like to explore?
  • ecosystem: have you identified a city or technology hub that would be particularly relevant to deepening your knowledge of your chosen theme? Do you already have in mind a list of startups, gas pedals, innovative companies, investment funds, etc. to meet?
  • dates: do you have an idea of when you'd like to leave?
  • budget: what budget per person do you have in mind? Whether you're staying in your home country or going abroad, you'll need to factor into your budget the costs of travel, catering, accommodation, any meeting room bookings, etc.

Once you are more or less clear on the above, we recommend that you call on the services of an agency to help you clarify your needs and draw up the program for your LEX. You'll need to allow around 3 months of organization to validate speakers, secure company visits and meetings, book accommodation and catering options, and so on.

Depending on the duration (from 1 to 3 days), LEX enables you to meet as many players in your chosen ecosystem as possible.
