Conferences are events that generally bring together people from the same field or company. Above all, they are a privileged moment of exchange between professionals, speakers and participants. This type of event often takes place in an amphitheater, with an audience coming to listen to one or more speakers, but it is possible to imagine more modern, collaborative organizations. Conferences can also be organized online or in a hybrid format. Conferences enable the audience to learn about a particular theme, and the organizers to position themselves as experts on the subject.

An inspiration shot or conference can cover a (very) wide range of subjects. It could be, for example, a conference on new technologies such as connected objects, on innovation, creativity, leadership, managerial skills, entrepreneurship... In short, there are no restrictions! The choice of theme will depend on your objectives, the context of your business sector, the profile of your participants and employees, and so on.

On the conference front, the "hot" topics are corporate well-being, such as stress management, work-life balance, professional fulfillment and corporate inclusion. Increasingly attentive to the employee experience, companies are taking a greater interest in these topics. We're also seeing a lot of conferences on topical issues such as digitalization, eco-responsibility and good corporate habits.

The themes of our inspiration shots are just as varied, but focus more specifically on innovation and new technologies, societal trends... Whatever the business sector, tech is profoundly transforming our society and accelerating the transformation of our professions. These short formats are innovative and inspiring, enabling your employees to better grasp these changes, give them meaning and remove any barriers to change management.

From start-ups to large corporations, organizing a conference can meet a number of objectives:

  • inform and/or inspire: the main objective of a conference is to create a moment of dialogue and debate around a topical issue or theme, whatever it may be. From artificial intelligence to entrepreneurship and accelerating creativity, the key is to convey powerful messages that meet your objectives. It can also be a time to raise awareness of an issue.
  • rally and mobilize teams: organized internally, a conference can help to achieve a new objective, motivate talent or develop a strategy, for example: "How to tackle the sector's digital transformation?".
  • bring out new ideas: a conference can also be an opportunity to stimulate change and adapt corporate strategies by immersing employees in an "innovation" way of thinking, and drawing inspiration from examples of the creative, agile start-ups of the moment.
  • raise your company's profile: a conference is a great way to raise your profile, make a lasting impression and enhance your employer brand.
  • Position yourself as an expert: this helps you gain credibility and develop a competitive edge in your field.
  • broaden your network: a conference is a great opportunity to meet new people and attract new potential customers, financial partners, etc.

The choice of speakers for these events is crucial. The speaker's profile must be in line with the chosen theme: give preference to an expert in the field, and don't hesitate to check out his or her work. What's more, a number of qualities are essential if you are to present a conference effectively and eye-catchingly: the presenter needs to be a good speaker, accustomed to public speaking, but he or she also needs to demonstrate pedagogical skills and be able to federate and convince thanks to his or her pitch.

It's even better if you can get a speaker who is recognized in his or her field of expertise, or even famous: this will give you greater visibility and broaden your audience. Finally, you can also invite a speaker who speaks a foreign language, as long as you plan to translate his or her speech into French.

Organizations can call on different speaker profiles depending on their objectives:

  • sector experts: when the aim is to increase the audience's skills on a specific theme. For example, if you're organizing a conference on the digital transition, it might be a good idea to call on a professional who has already managed a project of this kind.
  • celebrities: they can reach a wider audience and share their experience on stage.
  • motivational speakers : here, the speaker's aim is to stimulate and motivate the audience to take action.
  • inspirational speakers: their speeches should be a source of inspiration for participants.
